Our VSAT Services

PACTEC aims to provide telecommunication, Internet, and IT solutions to schools, universities, hospitals, NGO’s, and various organizations.

Our team of highly experienced GVF certified engineers and technicians are prepared to install and maintain VSAT systems. A VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) is a two wave satellite ground station which provides internet connectivity to remote locations.

C-band VSAT System

The C-band system satellite dish, ranging from 1.80 meters to 2.40 meters in diameter, provides 99.2% network availability throughout the year and a signal which is not affected by clouds or rain, providing ideal technology for professional use.

Ku-band VSAT System

The Ku-band system satellite dish, ranging from 0.90 meters to 1.20 meters in diameter, is recommended for dry climates with short rainy seasons. This system is cost effective and easily installed and transported into remote locations.

PACTEC Bandwidth Packages

We offer three primary bandwidth service packages. For your convenience, we are willing to compose any specific packages, including dedicated bandwidth packages, to accommodate to your site’s needs.

Standard Package

• 512Kbps download/256Kbps upload with a contention ratio of 20:1 for unlimited usage.
• Can equip up to 5 computers with connection to email, internet browsing, and during off-peak hours access to VOIP services such as Skype.

Professional Package

• 512Kbps download/128Kbps upload with a contention ratio of 10:1 for unlimited usage.
• Can equip up to 10 computers with connection to email, internet browsing, VOIP such as Skype, and during off-peak hours access to audio and video streaming.

Premium Package

• 1024Kbps download/256Kbps upload with a contention ratio of 10:1 for unlimited usage.
• Can equip up to 25 with connection to email, internet browsing, VOIP services such as Skype and audio and video streaming.
